In 2023, Face with Tears of Joy,  the Thumbs Up emoji and the Red Heart were the most used emojis, according to most platforms. On some polls the placings may be a bit different, but the top ten emojis have stayed more or less the same for many years

Face with Tears of Joy – This emoji was mentioned 254 million times, significantly more than any other emoji, also known as the “laugh out loud” emoji. This classic emoji has been a favorite for years and continues to top the charts as the most popular way to express laughter and joy in digital communication.

The Thumbs Up emoji came in second place in 2023,
